Since 1989 Dr. Julie’s clinic has been providing herbal medicine, chiropractic, acupuncture, laser therapy and natural medicine for humans and animals. All of our herbal blends contain human-grade, certified ingredients and are formulated by a team of veterinarians, chiropractors, and herbalists. These are the quality of products that we wanted for our own family and now we’d like to share them with yours.

Can my dog or horse take more than one shield product at a time?
YES, the shield products are designed to work in tandem. They compliment one another for maximum health benefits.
Are the products safe when used with prescribed drugs?
As with any new supplement, it is wise to speak with your veterinarian before starting any new formulas. If your animal has chronic health issues, it is wise to begin with a very small amount of the product to evaluate their tolerance. Always speak with your veterinarian before starting supplements.
What is the recommended dose for the shield products?
Our suggested guidelines are: Dogs 1/4 teaspoon per 20 pounds of weight. Horses 1 Tablespoon per 500 pounds of weight. Please follow your doctor/veterinarians recommendations for dose using the label amounts as a guide. We recommend starting with 1/2 dose the first two weeks to allow your animal to ease into the change. These are powerful blends and so we recommend that less is more.
Which product should I start with if I think my animal can benefit from more than one of the shield products?
We believe it is important to start with the gut because it is like the stem of a plant. The gut is where the body absorbs it’s nutrients. If the gut is healthy, then the body can maximize other supplements. We suggest 2-4 weeks on the Digestive shield and then add other products like the Joint Shield, Heart Shield, or Allergy Shield.
Can the products be used daily for life?
It is best to speak with your veterinarian. We believe that Digestive Shield, Heart Shield and Joint Shield can be used daily. We recommend using Allergy Shield beginning at the first thaw in spring and continuing through the first freeze in Winter. If you live in a climate where it does not freeze, you can use Allergy Shield year round. As with all supplements and medications, if your animal has a reaction, stop the product until you speak with a veterinarian.
